To provide a secure and efficient marketplace for tasks, we collect the following types of information:

A. Information You Provide

Account Registration: Name, email address, password, and phone number.

Identity Verification (For Providers): To ensure safety, we collect government-issued identification documents (such as Aadhaar Card or PAN Card) and biometric data (a live selfie) to verify your identity.

Profile Information: Profile pictures, skills, bio, portfolio images, and work history.

Task Information: Titles, descriptions, budget details, dates, and specific requirements for tasks you post.

User Content: Reviews, ratings, and messages exchanged between Clients and Providers via our in-app chat.

B. Information We Collect Automatically

Location Data: We collect precise location data (GPS) to help Clients set task locations, show Providers tasks available in their vicinity, and verify a Provider's location during task execution (if applicable). We may request background location access only if essential for specific features, and only with your explicit permission.

Device Information: Device model, operating system, IP address, and unique device identifiers.

Usage Data: Logs of how you interact with the App, including crash logs and performance data (via Google Firebase).

We use your data for the following purposes:

Service Delivery: To create accounts, match Clients with Providers, process bids, and facilitate task completion.

Safety & Security: To verify the identity of Service Providers (KYC), prevent fraud, and maintain a trusted community.

Communication: To send booking confirmations, status updates, security alerts, and support messages.

App Improvement: To analyze usage trends and fix technical issues (crashes/bugs).

The App may request the following permissions on your device:

Location: To identify your current location for task posting or finding nearby jobs.

Camera & Storage: To allow you to upload profile photos, task evidence, portfolio images, and identity documents for verification.

Notifications: To alert you about bids, chat messages, and task updates.

We respect your data. We do not sell your personal information. However, we share data in specific scenarios:

Between Users: If you are a Provider, your name, photo, rating, and rough location are visible to Clients. If you are a Client, your task location (approximate until hired) and details are visible to Providers.

Service Providers: We use trusted third-party services to help us operate: - Microsoft Azure: For secure cloud hosting and data storage. - Google Maps Platform: For location services and mapping.

Legal Compliance: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety/rights of our users or the public.

Storage: Your data is stored on secure cloud servers provided by Microsoft Azure.

Security: We use industry-standard encryption (SSL/TLS) for data in transit. Sensitive identity documents (KYC) are stored with restricted access.

Retention: We retain your personal data only as long as necessary to provide our services and comply with legal obligations.

Access & Update: You can edit your profile details directly within the App.

Account Deletion: You have the right to request the deletion of your account and associated data. You can find this option in the App Settings or by contacting us. Note: Some data may be retained for legal or fraud-prevention reasons.

The App is intended for users 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we discover a user is under 18, we will delete their account immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our technology or legal requirements. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this policy or via an in-app notification.
